A reliable partner … founded in 1995, specialized in everything related to Auto ID. This refers to the automatic identification of goods, ensuring they arrive at the correct destination after shipping.
“IPI provides both the software and hardware of Auto ID.” This includes creating barcode labels, reading the barcodes with scanners and pocket PC terminals, processing the data in a software system (including setting up wireless networks), and implementing print & apply systems that automatically label boxes. IPI delivers this complete Auto ID service to numerous multinationals in the logistics, chemical, and food sectors throughout Belgium and the Netherlands, but also to SMEs, small independent businesses, and umbrella organizations.

Expanding its services … three years ago we started our own label production, which gave the company a tremendous boost. “By producing labels ourselves, we close the circle and have all the expertise in-house to offer customers accurate and complete service. From the smallest scanner to a fully tailored WMS (Warehouse Management System) and LMS (Logistic Management System) implementation.”

An ecological company … IPI’s new headquarters in Kapellen makes use of geothermal energy and therefore operates completely independently in terms of electricity, heating, and cooling. Geothermal energy is the heat stored in the earth. A heat pump uses this earth heat and supplies energy for the building’s central heating. The new warehouse and offices of IPI are fully floor-heated and cooled. All electricity for the building and the heat pump is supplied by solar panels on the roof.

Socially engaged … IPI collaborates with schools for young people with disabilities. In this way, we also give these youngsters the opportunity to gain experience in a real company. IPI wants to offer them a fair chance to gain experience in a professional work environment.
